A question worth discussing: How trapped we are in making strides/progress in our career that we have forgot the true essence of human life?
I have met people (including me) who despite having 20 LPA packages at the age of 26, decent job profiles, are running around with a lot of stress and anxiety in their minds. People who are more influenced by the perception of the outside world rather than identifying what makes them feel satisfied and happy. I personally feel that we in our lives have got so much involved in achieving superficial goals/ money that we have forgotten the intrinsic goal/essence of human life. Every day we lift newspaper flooded with headlines of dreaded reality which narrates horrors about millions of people suffering due to poverty, hunger, exploitation, health hazards, etc. We have become so much disengaged from our consciousness/responsibility towards our society that we effortlessly ignore what happening around us and move on with our rat race
I am grateful and appreciate all the work done by Health workers, NGOs, Sanitation personnel, Government employees, and Volunteers who fought for us during COVID 19
I feel that we all should look inward and push ourselves towards making this world a better place
